CEEFA-Benin/ Great conference of women pastors and church leaders: “rise and shine”

The curtains came down on September 13, 2024 on the Grande conférence des femmes pasteurs et leaders des églises organized by the Coalition des Eglises Evangéliques Francophones et Anglophones du Bénin (CEEFA-Bénin), at the Eglise la Grâce divine in Jéricho/Cotonou. The conference featured teachings, a round-table discussion and workshops on the theme of “Woman, rise and shine”.

From September 11 to 13, 2024, the Eglise la Grâce Divine in Jéricho/Cotonou hosted the Grande Conférence des Femmes Pastteurs et Leaders des Eglises Francophones et Anglophones du Bénin (CEEFA-Bénin), under the theme “Femme, lève-toi et brille”. “Our host is the source of all treasures from our majesty, the eternal heavenly father. The most important thing for you is to cultivate fellowship with the Holy Spirit at all times,” said CEEFA-Benin President Pasteur Louis K. Lagni. “It's time for women to play their full role in society,” he continued. For the apostle John Akanu, women must rise up because a wise woman builds her house. The conference featured several sub-themes. The value of a woman'' by Apostle Dorcas Bakashira from Congo and ''The role of a woman in her home'' by Clémence Fabro, were the teachings of the 1st day. “Femme, lève-toi et brille” (Woman, rise and shine) by Reverend Chantal Dovonou and ‘The woman pastor and her mission' by Pastor John Nnenna, were on Day 2. And finally “La femme pasteur et son habillement” by Pastor Ann Ekejiuba and “La femme et son mari infidèle” by Pastor Ngozi Thomson, those of the 3rd day. For Pastor Ngozi, it's time for women to rise up and fulfill their destiny.

Cica Dovonou, President of the Rehobot NGO and a marriage counselor, affirmed that the aim of the big conference is also to awaken all the potential that lies dormant in women. “God has placed many treasures within us. Without women, a society could not exist”, she added. It's time for women to play their full role!
